The Purépecha Unalachtigo Ranch is a Native American permaculture education facility hosting many visitors per year. The Ranch is a 15-acre tourist attraction, serving all southern Jersey school students and surrounding states. The Purépecha Unalachtigo Ranch serves as a hub of permaculture education for school districts, engaging Pre-K through 12th grade in permaculture experiences. The Ranch is owned by Victor and Tyrese Gould Jacinto. The purpose of the Ranch is to educate the school children and families of the area about permaculture through hands-on experiences. School children visit the Ranch as a field trip opportunity, school engagement events, and the Permaculture Education Program during a year.
History of Purépecha Unalachtigo
We chose the name Purépecha Unalachtigo Ranch to celebrate both ancient cultures of our people. We are using wisdom from what we learned from our elders to be responsible for the gift of this earth that we are able to borrow while here. Purépecha is the ancestry of Victor. The Purépecha or Tarascans (endonym P'urhépecha [pʰuˈɽepet͡ʃa]) are a group of indigenous people centered in the northwestern region of Michoacán, Mexico, mainly in the area of the cities of Cherán and Pátzcuaro.

Unalachtigo is the ancestry of Tyrese. The Unalachtigo (People Who Live Near the Ocean) inhabited the southern part of the state in an area extending from just north of Camden, across the state to the Delaware Bay.
